Purpose of the Job

The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support to ensure smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role is vital for maintaining our technological infrastructure and supporting business operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions
  • Maintain and update tracking and logistics software
  • Perform regular system backups and security updates
  • Train employees on new software and systems
  • Document technical procedures and solutions
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers
  • Support mobile devices and applications

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT support or help desk
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience with network administration and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with logistics and tracking software
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Relevant IT certifications preferred
